Hey love,
I heard a stat this week that wrecked me in the best way:
Out of the 69% of women who want to start a business…
Only 5.6% actually do.
And of those?
Less than 1% make it past year three.
Let that land.
It’s not because we aren’t smart enough.
Not because our ideas aren’t good enough.
Not because we lack strategy or potential.
It’s because we’re taught to second-guess ourselves.
To shrink instead of shine.
To fear failure more than we trust our own voice.
To over-give, over-perfect, over-analyze—and call it safety.
The women I work with are brilliant. Visionary. Capable.
And still? They come to me stuck in self-doubt, procrastination, fear of being seen, and chronic pressure to “do it right.”
And I get it—because I’ve been there.
I’ve wanted to quit more than once.
I’ve questioned everything.
Wondered if I was delusional. If it would ever work.
But I’m still here.
Why?
Because I started this work. Nervous system work. Emotional rewiring.
I didn’t begin it for business—I began it to survive.
And now? It’s the foundation that holds everything else.
Every time I show up—when I lead, create, coach, rest, rebuild—I think:
Thank God I didn’t give up on this.
🙏 Hands in the sky, thankful.
Because this work works.
And here’s what I want to say, with my whole heart:
🔥 I want you to do what you want with your life.
🔥 I want you to start the thing, say the thing, build the thing.
🔥 I want you to feel powerful doing it.
🔥 Maybe it’s not a business—maybe it’s a move, a boundary, a dream, a new identity.
🔥 Whatever it is—I want you to live it. Fully. Fiercely. Freely.
Not because you pushed harder.
But because you finally stopped outsourcing your power and came home to it.
A rising tide lifts all ships, friend.
And when we build capacity in the body—that’s the tide.
It supports our leadership. Our business. Our voice. Our relationships. Our expansion.
Let me help you open the locks.
Let’s rise the ships. Together.
With love + fire,
Ashley

P.S. If this hit something tender or lit something up—reach out. Whether you’re dreaming, rebuilding, or right in the messy middle… I see you. Let’s find the tide that holds you.
